Count pavers for a patio or path, plus the bedding sand and compacted road base underneath.

How it's worked out
Pavers = area ÷ (paver + joint) area, plus waste. Bedding sand is 30 mm thick plus 10%. Road base volume adds 20% for compaction. Edging runs around the full perimeter.
