Privacy policy

BestTools (besttools.fyi and the BestTools Android app) is run by Relax Digital Works, Australia. This page explains what data we handle.

Calculator inputs

Measurements you type into the calculators, your project list, business details and site diary are saved in your own browser or app storage. They are not sent to our server, except when a Business user chooses to back them up to the cloud.

Purchases

When you buy Pro or Business we collect your name (optional), email address, order reference and licence key so we can deliver and restore your licence. Card payments are processed by Square and PayPal payments by PayPal; we never see or store your card details. Business cloud backups are stored on our server and linked to your licence key.

Emails

We send your licence key and receipt to the email you give us. We don't send marketing emails.

Advertising

The website may show ads from Google AdSense and the Android app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may use cookies or device identifiers to show and measure ads, and in some regions asks for your consent. You can learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
