Concrete for common slab sizes
Concrete volume is length × width × depth. The table adds 10% for waste and uses about 108 × 20 kg premix bags per cubic metre. For more than about 1 m³, a truck delivery is usually the better choice.
| Slab | Depth | Volume | With 10% waste | 20 kg bags |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 1 m | 100 mm | 0.10 m³ | 0.11 m³ | 12 |
| 2 × 2 m | 100 mm | 0.40 m³ | 0.44 m³ | 48 |
| 3 × 3 m | 100 mm | 0.90 m³ | 0.99 m³ | 107 |
| 4 × 3 m | 100 mm | 1.20 m³ | 1.32 m³ | 143 |
| 6 × 4 m | 100 mm | 2.40 m³ | 2.64 m³ | 286 |
